Offered by Tri-City Fencing Academy, this youth program begins with a four-session introductory class, teaching the basic actions of the sport, allowing students to progress to the fencing bouts in a short time. Fencing is great cardio work-out, improving hand-eye coordination, concentration, mental focus and physical stamina. All equipment provided.Register
Pre-requisite: Fencing Youth Beginners. After completion of a beginners program students enter into the L1 Training program and will develop strong technical sport fencing basics. Instruction by Tri-City Academy and all equipment is provided.Register
The next level in our series of Skatebaord/Scooter Workshops on our FRESHPARK portable system; this is for the child with some experience riding their skateboard/scooter and is ready to learn more skills and some tricks. Our instructor will lead a fun and safe program ensuring that kids are being challenged regardless of their initial skill set. This session we will teach skills in a progressive manner and introduce tricks such as: ollies, grinding, drop-ins, and much more! Participants must provide their own skateboard/scooter, helmet and elbow pads.Register
Sportball Multi Sport introduces children to the concepts and skills involved in the eight core sports of the Sportball approach. This program reinforces the benefits of teamwork and skills development rather than the importance of winning, giving children the confidence and social skills necessary to succeed in sport and life.Register
Participants are introduced to fundamental concepts of gameplay and provided the basic soccer and floor hockey skills. Coaches build on the basic skills of balance, coordination, stamina and fun in a supportive, non-competitive environment with skills and activities for each sport.Register
In red level tennis, players will be introduced to the game in an easy and fun way. Using low-compression red balls, players will make their transition from pre-rally skills and learn to serve, rally, and score in Red (1/2) tennis court.Register
